Vishwas Patel - Co - Founder and Director
As the Chairman Of the Board of Fable, Vishwas has guided the company to become South Asia's No. 1 eCommerce company in a relatively short time.
The company's first initiative, CCAvenue® was launched in September 2001 and it today provides payment gateway services to thousands of eMerchants across the world. More than 85% of India's Web Merchants are using the CCAvenue payment gateway solution. The solution is India's largest direct debit engine, which connects to more than 50+ Indian banks in real time and processes all types of Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Cash cards. ResAvenue®, the second initiative is the fastest growing Hospitality solution in the Indian Sub-continent.
Launched in 2004, more than 1000 hotel properties in Asia are using ResAvenue's state-of-the-art booking engine, distribution services and payment gateway services on their hotel websites. EventAvenue®, the third Initiative was launched in 2006 and was India's first and the industry's leading online registration and payment gateway software. HotelsAvenue® is a solution for the travel agent that has been been launched in the year 2010. It addresses the travel agents, online intermediaries, portals etc. aspirations of having live feeds of instantly 'bookable room inventory' of over a hundred thousand global hotels on their own websites. The next few solutions, MembersAvenue®, and TrustAvenue® are some of the new initiatives in the pipeline.
Prior to founding Fable, Vishwas was a practicing counsel on the Original Side of the Bombay High Court. He also co-founded the SEASONS Group of Companies, which owns the fashion brand 'SEASONS' (www.SeasonsIndia.com), which today is the top name in the branded Indian ethnic garments industry and is retailed at over 1500 top outlets in over a 100 cities around the globe. Vishwas is also involved in his family's construction business, which has constructed several landmark structures in India's financial capital, Mumbai. Vishwas is a Commerce graduate and holds a Degree of Law from the Mumbai University.
Hershel Asmani - Co - Founder and Director
Hershel combines Fable's historic innovative and customer-driven expertise with strategic and operational rigor. He has a single minded focus to develop volume based financial Web Products and Services for a global audience. Having spent his college years in understanding and learning computer technologies, he brings to RemitGuru, a deep understanding of the Web Services Industry, a strong financial background, a keen business sense, and most importantly, an unquenchable ambition for growth. Hershel's key role at Remitguru is to orchestrate rapid growth in remittances, and forge strategic partnerships essential to manage the scale.
Hershel holds a Masters in Management and Marketing degree from Lancaster University, UK.
Amit Badiyani - Technology Advisor
Amit Badiyani is a seasoned IT professional and Technology entrepreneur with extensive expertise in developing software solutions for global financial services and healthcare Industries. Over the years, he has delivered solutions for Equity Products (On-line Trading system, Equity Indices, Straight through Processing, portfolio management), Debt products (Structured Finance), Publishing Systems, Electronic Medical/Health records, Medical Procedure recording applications and testing of healthcare apps. He has handled numerous projects at the same time. He started off as a developer and rose through the ranks to be a Program Manager with Trigyn Technologies. Before starting his own firm, Amit was the Program manager and Practice head for Financial Services for Lambent Technologies for two years. He has extensive international exposure having managed delivery onsite and also supported international customers from different geographies from offshore. He has successfully developed solutions on different technical platforms like Java, .Net, php and mobile platforms like iOS. Amit has spoken at conferences and seminars organized by CII, TiE and VMA. Amit is a physics graduate from Nagpur University and has undergone a 2-year Diploma course in IT from NIIT, one of India's premier IT training Institute.
Naushad Contractor - Chief Executive Officer
A Business Manager with 20 years' Experience of Business Building across Geographies, Naushad is the CEO at RemitGuru. Together with his team, his vision is to "Make In India" a truly Global Digital Money Transfer Company where people love to work and customers love to use. Previously, he was one of the founding members & part of the core management team at Times of Money & Remit2India.com and headed the Mobile Commerce & M-Pesa unit at Vodafone.
Part of e-Businesses success stories, he has played a key role in launching the first M-Paisa pilot in India, Wallet365.Com India's first eWallet and was a part of the core team that launched and made Remit2India.com the World's No.1 Independent Money Transfer Portal for NRIs.
His proficiencies include Product Development, Marketing, & Business Development & Naushad believes in the benefits of the Internet, Mobile and emerging technologies to drive business growth. He has updated knowledge of Global & Indian payment systems, regulations, business processes and E-Business models. Being a visiting Faculty for E-Business and Internet Marketing at leading Management Institutes helps him to share his thoughts with budding managers. His passions are waste management, traveling & fast cars.
